 I-Mate Mobile Phones
I-mate was founded by Jim Morrison in the year 2001 in Glasgow, Scotland. From beginning of its existence I-mate has been selling branded versions of Pocket PCs, PPC Phones and smartphones manufactured by HTC. In the beginning it was based in Dubai, UAE and operated in the UK, Italy, Armenia, Australia, India, the USA and South Africa.
In 2006 its relationship with HTC and O2 ended and I-mate started carrying devices from other manufacturers like TechFaith and Inventec.
